Scott is headed for surgery now. Doctors need to relieve swelling that is occurring
at the base of his brain which is currently preventing his brain from being
able to absorb necessary fluid. He will
be in surgery this morning and it should take a few hours. Doctors are reporting that he still remains
in a very critical stage where the swelling in his brain is increasing. Again, it is impossible for anyone to say when
he will be out of the woods but the doctors are saying that as long as his
brain is still reacting to the injury – swelling and possible hemorrhaging – we
are not yet in the recovery phase. They are saying that this phase usually lasts 72 hours or so. I
will post an update following his surgery.
Scott and Jen, even people that don't know you are praying and sending healing energy to you. Please know that you and your family, and Scott's doctors and care team, are being surrounded by waves of love and hope from all over - more than you can imagine. Hang on.
